Pete Martinez
Founder and CEO
Pete Martinez serves as Chairman and CEO of Game Changer Tec LLC and SIVOTEC Analytics; high innovation enterprises at the intersection of Sports, Health, Technology, and Big Data Analytics. An international entrepreneur, he has led numerous high impact initiatives in the areas of high technology, business consulting, healthcare, and education.   

During his 32 year tenure with IBM, Martinez, Vice President of Global Business Services and the Senior Location Executive for IBM South Florida, led a 1,700-person organization composed of consultants, hardware and software developers, industry specialists and sales leaders. He led projects in the areas of advanced research, supercomputing and information based medicine. In 2003, Martinez led the formation of IBM's largest Business Transformation Multi-client Center now a multi-billion dollar outsourcing business. Previously, he led the formation of Business Consulting and System Integration Services in Latin America a 2000 person, 17 countries, $1 billion business. He was also the founding executive of IBM's e-business Strategy Consulting and Consulting Profession Leader for the Americas. Martinez also led the creation of the IBM University Consortium 'LA Grid' (Latin America Grid) and the advanced pandemic global research initiative 'Project Checkmate' in partnership with The Scripps Research Institute. Among other career highlights, Martinez was part of the original IBM Personal Computer team and one of the founders of IBM’s Internet Division and eBusiness Consulting.

Mr. Martinez is also Research Affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is a visiting professor at Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University.  Additionally, he is Chair of the University of Miami School of Engineering Advisory Board, Chair of the Florida International University School of Computer Science Advisory Board, member of Florida Atlantic University’s Engineering Advisory Board, and is Chairman Emeritus of the Florida Research Consortium Board of Directors.

Mr. Martinez is President of the Association of Cuban Engineers, past Chairman and Senior Vice President of Palm Beach Medical Education Company (developer of the first investor funded Medical Education program in the US), past Co-Chairman of Cloud Industries Health, and is a past member of the Board of Directors of Net.Orange, a leading healthcare technology and services organization. He was Senior Vice President of the Quantum Group and core to taking the company public through the Initial Public Offering.  

Mr. Martinez is also a Board Trustee of ASPIRE at LakePoint Sports and a Board member of the Youth Sports of the Americas. These organizations are leaders in advanced and high tech health, safety, and performance programs for athletes. He is a Board member of the Student ACES organization focusing on academic and athletic leadership development. Mr. Martinez is also a member of the Board of Advisors of the Caridad Center and is a Trustee of the Palm Healthcare Foundation. 

Martinez has over 30 patents and technical publications in the areas of: healthcare, Artificial Intelligence, computer architecture, robotics, optical disks and display technology. Martinez is a frequent key note at international conferences and has been featured by the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, ABC News, The Economist, Univision and CNN and has presented at the United Nations.

Mr. Martinez holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami where he was named the Distinguished Alumnae (1998) and a Member of the Tau Beta Pi and Iron Arrow Honor Societies.  In 2002 he was awarded the “Engineer of the Year” by the Association of Cuban Engineers, and in 2004 was inducted into the Miami Dade College Hall of Fame.  Florida International University bestowed the 2007 Cal Kovens Service Medallion Award on Mr. Martinez.  June 22, 2007 was proclaimed “Pete Martinez Day” by the Mayor of the City of Boca Raton, Florida.

Michael F. Bergeron, Ph.D., FACSM

Michael F. Bergeron, Ph.D., FACSM is Senior Vice President of Development & Applications in the Center for Advanced
Analytics in Sport & Health of SIVOTEC Analytics – a Division of Game Changer Tec. He is also President and Chief Executive Officer of Youth Sports of the Americas.

Internationally recognized for his research and leadership in exercise-heat stress and physiological strain, hydration challenges in sport, youth athletic health and sport concussion, Dr. Bergeron co-chaired and is the lead author on the 2015 International Olympic Committee (IOC) Consensus on Youth Athletic Development and the 2012 IOC Consensus on Thermoregulatory and Altitude Challenges for High- level Athletes. He is a Fellow and past Trustee of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and served a 4-year term as a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations Sports Medicine Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Medical Advisory Committee for Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. and the Academic Advisory Board for the International Olympic Committee postgraduate Diploma Program in Sports Medicine. Dr. Bergeron serves as an Editorial Board member for the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism and Journal of Athletic Training. He also serves as Clinical and Scientific Consultant to the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) professional tour medical services and Heat, Hydration and Research Advisor to Major League Soccer (MLS).

Dr. Bergeron has published over 100 peer-reviewed scientific and clinical articles and chapters in a variety of recognized and respected journals and books; and he has participated in over 250 regional, national and international research and educational presentations, symposia, summits, roundtables, and specialty courses on topics related to sports nutrition, exercise training and performance, sport concussion, fluid and mineral balance, and effects of heat stress on exercise performance, health and safety for a variety of universities, medical centers and professional organizations and associations, and the Department of Defense. Dr. Bergeron has also participated in a number of Congressional Briefings in Washington, DC and testimonies for several State Legislatures on physical activity, health and safety in youth sports, and sport concussion. He currently serves as a reviewer for over 25 clinical and scientific journals; and he served (2001-14) as a reviewer for the United States Army Medical Research and Material Command (USAMRMC) on: 1.) Disease Prevention and Epidemiology, 2.) Bone Health and Military Medical Readiness (BHMMR), 3.) Military Nutrition Research, 4.) Injury Prevention, Physiological and Environmental Health Award (IPPEHA) and 5.) Military Operational Medicine Peer Review Panels for the Congressionally Directed Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP), as well the Peer Review Panel for the Defense Medical Research and Development Program (DMRDP).

Dr. Bergeron has worked with numerous youth, collegiate, and professional athletes and teams on appropriately and safely enhancing athletic capacity and resilience by providing individualized and sport-specific training and nutrition/hydration guidance, with a particular emphasis on preparation, competition, and recovery strategies in the heat and helping athletes to avoid exertional heat illness and injury. Because of his recognized expertise and reputation among athletes, coaches and sport and sports medicine governing bodies, Dr. Bergeron has been regularly featured as the “go-to” expert resource on myriad national television and radio shows, as well as in numerous online and print media and publications.

Luis Pintado
Chief Operating Officer
SIVOTEC

Mr. Luis Pintado is Chief Operating Officer of SIVOTEC Analytics. He brings to our team over 20 years of recognized leadership in the high-tech and mobile sector, with strong experience in conceptualizing, building and operating businesses inside major corporations and start-ups, as well as in strategic management advisory roles. He has broad hands-on experience in most aspects of running technology enterprises – from conception to divestiture – covering strategic planning and modeling, market sizing, team forming and leadership, solution sales, portfolio lifecycle management, product development, marketing and strategic alliances.

During his career, Mr. Pintado has worked in and as a strategy consultant to a plethora of disruptive organizations, from a telecom carrier entering its first international market in the mid-90’s to being the lead consultant in the Mexican telco sector for the world’s largest management consulting firm. His record also extends to successfully conceptualizing, launching, operating and exiting 3 start-ups in diverse industries, as well as being responsible for over $200 million in annual services revenue for a leading device manufacturer. Along the way, Mr. Pintado has earned a reputation as a valuable professional and a person with demonstrated commitment to determinedly deliver as a trusted partner with his clients and internal stakeholders. Mr. Pintado has collaborated with powerhouses like Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, IBM, Avantel, Nokia, Brightstar, BlackBerry, bioMerieux, and Mistral Mobile, which are among the companies where Mr. Pintado has added value throughout his corporate career.

Academically, Mr. Pintado earned his bachelor´s degree in Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico City, one of the top academic institutes in Latin America. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Telecommunications from the same Institute. Most recently, Mr. Pintado obtained his MBA from M.I.T.’s Sloan School of Management, specializing in Strategic Management and Consulting.

Danielle Amodio
Director, Business Development
Danielle Amodio serves as Director, Business Development for Game Changer Tec, LLC and SIVOTEC Analytics. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in communications, branding, marketing, business development and investor relations in a variety of industries.
 
Over the past eight years, Ms. Amodio has worked closely with numerous clients, providing business development, strategic organization, communications, accreditation support and marketing services to companies ranging from start-up to established organizations seeking new channels for growth within the healthcare and education industry sectors. Prior to this, she spent five years in an expanding role that culminated as Vice President of Corporate Communications for The Quantum Group of Companies. Ms. Amodio was responsible for the planning, development and implementation of branding and marketing strategies, corporate communications and investor and public relations. She also held a leadership role in taking the company to an initial public offering.
 
During her career, Ms. Amodio has gained valuable experience encompassing all stages of marketing communications and development, including advertising, branding, market research, membership recruitment and retention, and public relations. She has served as the company spokesperson for several organizations as the leading voice in industry and consumer presentations, as well as media relations. Ms. Amodio has directed critical research studies in worldwide markets to identify trends and new opportunities for potential new products. She has also been recognized for her valuable and creative presentations to and for global sales teams designed to enhance selling skills and outcomes.
 
A graduate of Towson University in Maryland, Ms. Amodio holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications with a dual concentration in Advertising and Public Relations, and a minor in Communication Studies.

Taghi M. Khoshgoftaar,
MS, PhD

Senior Scientist - Advanced Analytics
Dr. Taghi M. Khoshgoftaar is Motorola Endowed Chair professor of the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Florida Atlantic University and the Director of National Science Foundation Big Data Training and Research Laboratory. Dr. Khoshgoftaar brings world-class assets and expertise in Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence to the Game Changer team.

Dr. Khoshgoftaar’s research interests are in big data analytics, data mining and machine learning, health informatics and bioinformatics, social network mining, and software engineering. He has published more than 500 refereed journal and conference papers in these areas. Dr. Khoshgoftaar is the conference chair of the IEEE International Conference on Machine Learning and Applications (ICMLA 2016). He was also the conference chair of the IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Bioengineering (BIBE 2014).

Dr. Khoshgoftaar is the Co-Editor-in Chief of the Journal of Big Data.  He has served on organizing and technical program committees of various international conferences, symposia, and workshops. Dr. Khoshgoftaar has also served as North American Editor of the Software Quality Journal, and he was on the editorial boards of the journals Multimedia Tools and Applications, Knowledge and Information Systems, and Empirical Software Engineering. He currently serves on the editorial boards of the journals Software Quality, Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering, and Social Network Analysis and Mining.

Kevin C. McElfresh, PhD
Senior Scientist - Genomics
Dr. Kevin C. McElfresh is Assistant Director of the International Forensic Research Institute at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. He plays an integral role in Game Changer Analytics research and other clinical aspects of our integrated platforms related to genomics and advanced analytics.

Dr. McElfresh earned his Ph.D. in molecular and population genetics at the University of Georgia and has spent his entire research career looking at the practical implications of genetic variation differences in populations. One of his primary focuses was on genetic variation associated with forensic identification, while he completed his very first DNA case in 1987. Dr. McElfresh was also a member of the team that exhumed and identified the remains of the Viet Nam Unknown Soldier. 

Dr. McElfresh was a founder of The Bode Technology Group; and it was his laboratory that processed the bone fragments from Ground Zero in New York City. Over the last 3 decades, he has processed and analyzed thousands of forensic samples and testified in court over 1,000 times, as well as managing and participating in Department of Defense, State, and numerous privately funded research programs. Current research of Dr. McElfresh has focused on applying massively parallel DNA sequence analysis and high-density SNP arrays to deconvolute the types of mixtures of DNA that are found in over 70% of forensic cases.

Keith O'Donnell

During the past 30 years, Keith O’Donnell has established himself as one of the top commercial real estate specialists in South Florida having been directly responsible for over $2 Billion of transactions during the past 10 years. As Vice President of Marketing and Development for the Commercial Division of Arvida/JMB, Mr. O’Donnell was responsible for directing the land planning, entitlement, development, marketing, sales and leasing of mixed‐use commercial real estate, from Palm Beach County, Florida to Orange County California.

In 1991 Mr. O’Donnell formed Southcoast Partners Development and Southcoast Partners Realty, ultimately purchased in 1993 by Codina Group, now Flagler. As Managing Director of Flagler Real Estate Services/ONCOR International, Mr. O’Donnell manages a team of commercial asset specialists whose mission is to design and execute value enhancing real estate activities for national and international clients. In addition, he created and leads the Asset Solution Group for Flagler.

Mr. O’Donnell was the Chairman of the Downtown Visions Committee for 14 years, until recently a member of the Planning and Zoning Board for the City of Boca Raton for the last 10 years, ULI Member, Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce ‐ Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Chair of the Economic Development Committee, and The Golden Bell Education Foundation Nominating Committee, Allianz Champion Golf Charity Board Member, The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) Board of Directors including chairing the BDB’s Headquarters Committee, and steering committee member for the Green Energy Cluster Council. Mr. O’Donnell has been recently elected to the Boca Raton Community Hospital’s Foundation Board of Directors.
